It's hard to believe we've made it twenty episodes! But here we are, and as we like to do on the 5's, this week we're counting down some 80s soundtrack cuts. Songs that maybe don't have the full support of a soundtrack album, or might get lost in the shuffle of an artist's other work. You might not think of some of these as misfits, but when else would we ever get to talk about them? Now, that's when!
This episode also draws a pretty clear line between Libby's taste in music versus Joe's. One is smooth and laid back, while the other never met a guitar that didn't need a good smashing. (Together, they fight crime!)
At any rate, kick back and enjoy this eclectic mix of 80s soundtrack tunes. Who knows, you may just come away with a new favorite song!
SHOW NOTES:
- From The Week: "The Coming Death of Just About Every Rock Legend"
- No really, the "Who's Johnny" video needs to be seen to be believed
- Intro/Outro: "Dance Rocket" by Jesse Spillane
