With the release of Bill & Ted Face The Music, we return to bring you more musical madness courtesy of Wyld Stallyns and Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey. It's a film near and dear to Joe's strange, twisted heart!
Bogus Journey is a snapshot of the moment when hair metal acts like Winger and Neverland began to fall out of favor as alt-rock acts like Primus and Faith No More began to hit the mainstream. Landing just before Nirvana's "Nevermind," it was a musical changing of the guard, and the blending of the two works well for the film's darker tone.
And to top it off, we've got epic riffs from Steve Vai, funky metal tracks from King's X and Ritchie Kotzen, and KISS doing a fittingly reverent cover of Argent's "God Gave Rock & Roll To You". Come join us and party on, dudes!
