Happy Thanksgiving, gang! On this week's show, we're giving thanks for a comedy legend and discuss some our favorite songs from the films of Mel Brooks! In a film career spanning five decades, Mel Brooks has produced some of the greatest comedies of all time. But not one to simply tell a joke, Brooks goes all out with elaborate musical numbers, Borscht Belt comedy routines, and yes, even the occasional pop theme song.
On this episode, we cover the whole range of Brooks' filmography, from his original 1967 film version of The Producers to its 2001 Broadway musical adaptation. AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN! Blazing Saddles, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Spaceballs, The Twelve Chairs, we go all over the place tonight!
