It's been 25 years since The X-Files jumped to the big screen! The first of two features based on the show, Fight The Future is The X-Files as a big-budget summer blockbuster. There's alien conspiracies, explosions, races through cornfields, killer bees for some reason... There's a lot to unpack with this film.
And naturally, it came with a pretty stellar soundtrack. The usual suspects of mid-90s rock are all here, including Foo Fighters, Tonic, Better Than Ezra, Ween, and more! We even get a couple cover tunes, courtesy of X and Filter which, honestly, the less said about that one the better...
Anywho, join us as we try to navigate 90s conspiracy theories, David Duchovny thirst traps, the bitter nostalgia for our early teenage years, and a whole lot more!
